FMCG & food
FMCG warehouse management for fast-moving, date-sensitive stock
- Bins get their size from the row's dimension group, minus a free-space buffer.
- Each carton's volume comes from the product's L × W × H.
- Bins already holding this SKU are filled first.
- Quantity per bin is free volume ÷ carton volume, and the rest spills to the next bin.
- The putaway list prints with bin barcodes. Once confirmed, the stock is live.

What you'll use
Pack hierarchy (UOM)
Cases, inners and eaches. Allocation draws from the largest pack first.
FEFO / FIFO with expiry tolerance
Earliest valid expiry ships first. Expired stock is flagged dead automatically.
Volumetric putaway
Bins that already hold the SKU fill first, then the next bin by free volume. Expiry dates never mix in a bin.
Purchase orders & goods inward
Receive against POs, split good and damaged on the dock, and reject stock that arrives too close to expiry.
Dispatch, manifest & documents
Invoices, delivery challans, packing slips and shipping labels, in single or bulk prints.
Lot-level stock ledger
Every movement from GRN to return is logged, so closing stock for any date is one report away.
