KRBL: moving India Gate from mill to dealer, batch by batch

At KRBL's scale, every bag needs to be traceable to its batch and pack date, and every dealer order needs the right pack sizes from the right stock. Waretech gives the team lot-level control from goods inward to dispatch.

Modules used

  • Dynamic SKU attributes
  • UOM pack hierarchy
  • FEFO / FIFO
  • Dispatch & documents

The challenge

  • Many SKUs across brands and pack sizes, from 1 kg pouches to bulk bags packed in cases
  • Batch and pack-date traceability on every dealer dispatch
  • High-volume B2B orders that need fast, accurate picking and documents

What changed

  1. 01

Batch and pack date on every lot

Batch No and packing/expiry dates are attributes of the rice product groups, captured at goods inward and carried on every lot.

  2. 02

    Cases first, then units

The UOM pack hierarchy means dealer orders draw full cases first, and stock reports reconcile cases and units.

  3. 03

    Dispatch paperwork in one place

Picklists, invoices, delivery challans and dispatch details (vehicle, driver, boxes, weight) are generated from the same order.
