kindlife: authentic K-beauty, picked by shade and expiry

Beauty shoppers notice the wrong shade or a short-dated serum immediately. kindlife uses Waretech to track every lot by expiry and variant, and to scan-check every order before it's sealed.

Modules used

  • FEFO picking
  • Dynamic SKU attributes
  • Scan-to-pack
  • Returns

The challenge

  • A large, fast-changing catalogue across hundreds of brands
  • Skincare with expiry dates that must ship fresh
  • Near-identical shades and sizes that are easy to mis-pick

What changed

  1. 01

    Expiry-first picking

Expiry is captured at goods inward, and picklists follow FEFO with an outbound tolerance, so short-dated stock is never picked.

  2. 02

    Shade and size as attributes

Variants are attributes of each product group, so every lot carries them through putaway, picking and returns.

  3. 03

    Scan-to-pack

Every unit is scanned against the picklist, and the AWB is generated when the box is complete.
